• Termination lawsuit of a master franchise agreement between large companies in the food sector, with a claim value of BRL 37 million. Represented the defendant, demonstrating just cause for termination, resulting in dismissal of the claim and avoidance of any contractual penalties.
• Writ of Mandamus filed on behalf of UOL against the Organizing Committee of the Rio 2007 Pan American Games, obtaining a favorable decision from the court allowing coverage of the sporting event.
• Indemnity lawsuit filed by Luiza Maria Mazzeo Martins and others against Elglobal Construtora Ltda. Our client Realiza was included in the proceedings through third-party impleader. The case involved damages exceeding BRL 10 million arising from an alleged breach of a multi-million real estate swap and condominium construction agreement in São José dos Campos/SP. Our work reversed the initial judgment against the client, resulting in full dismissal of the secondary claim.
• Successful appeal in a Special Appeal (Recurso Especial) filed on behalf of Banco Daniele against Hervaquímica regarding the validity of a clause providing for fiduciary alienation of a family home used as collateral in a loan agreement.
• Writ of Mandamus filed on behalf of Cabify against a municipal regulation of the City of Campinas that imposed a public fee on vehicles using the client’s app in the region. The injunction was granted, and the case became a leading precedent decided in favor of the client by the Special Court of the São Paulo Court of Justice.
